I'm just going to go right ahead and admit it: I play in too many bands. Yeah that's right, I am self aware of my band infidelity and my love for experiencing new musicians as much as I can. But with that being said, I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything! A lot of friends and relatives usually have a hard time keeping up with which band or artist I'm currently playing with, and I honestly can't blame them. So this article is for them! This is my little comprehensive guide to all of my bands, projects, artists, etc. that I am currently playing with (as of July 2023).

I'd also like to just make a quick note that because I play in so many bands does NOT mean I love or enjoy any of them less than others. They are all precious and equally loved. That's for you, Tristin.
The Losers Club
For those of you that don't know, I started playing with these guys back in October 2022 and it's been all uphill from then on! I originally met Tristin and Cass back when I was playing for Gunpoint Alibi (now HRZN) and we got to slowly know each other better by playing enough shows together and being involved with the Denver Pop Punk scene. If there's one thing these guys know how to do, it's put on an entertaining show! And I'm not just saying that because I benefit by writing positive things about my bandmates. Let me just put it this way, I was a fan of this band before I ever was even offered the throne with them!
Since October, I've had the privilege of playing a wide variety of shows with them ranging from the Bluebird Theater to HQ and even more! Additionally, we just released our first music video together for our song “Tik Tok Johnny”, which you can watch down below.
Tarantula Bill
Another one of my Craigslist gems, Tarantula Bill is not your average psychedelic rock band. We're kind of like the American, edgier version of Tame Impala - and I mean that in the best way possible. As in the past, I've discovered many of my great bands over the years via Craigslist and Tarantula Bill is no exception. When we first jammed we hit it off immediately and that's also when I was presented with an incredible opportunity in a mere 6 weeks from that first meeting: a tour! Within 6 weeks of first even meeting these guys I was driving down south with them and all of our gear to go on a 4 show run through Oklahoma and Texas! I must say, doing a 12 hour drive together really bonds you faster than anything else, and especially going on a whole week tour together - you really do get to learn A LOT about everyone in such a short period of time.
And with that being said, enjoy this drum cam of one of our songs, “Simple As He”, from our show at The Deli in Norman, OK.
Totem Pocket
I first met the guys (and gal) in Totem Pocket through a show we played together with Magnolia Grove. They blew me away the first time I heard them and their live energy and song intricacies definently caught my ears' attention. What genre are they classified as? I have no idea! Does it matter? Absolutely not! Just give them a listen for yourself and you can label us however you feel necessary.

The Study Abroad
Let me just start off by saying, I am a HUGE fan of The Study Abroad. So when they initially approached me about joining the band, you just know I had to say yes. Not to toot my own horn (even though it's not even myself playing on the recordings), but the songs give me hints of Title Fight mixed with early Turnover; which happen to be two of my favorite bands ever. The way they blend these midwest emo influences into their sound is what made me a fan in the first place and now I'm so excited to say that I get to drum for them as well!

Buck'd Off
I bet you (do) didn't know I can go full on cowboy-yee-haw-partner-ya'll-drummer when I want to. In fact, country music runs in my veins just as much as hair metal and hard rock do. I don't really tell many people this little fun fact, but now it's all over the internet for your enjoyment: Toby Keith was my ACTUAL first concert ever, NOT Def Leppard and Poison even though that's what I've been telling people for years.
Buck'd Off is a country cover band that also happens to have their own album of original music! We cover everything from the oldies, such as Merle and Hank, to the new stuff including: Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Morgan Wallen, and even more! Additionally, I get the pleasure of playing with my former-Magnolia Grove bandmates, Cormac Piper and Matt Isonhood as well!

So there you have it, that's all of my current bands… I think at least! Will there probably be more later on down the line? Yeah, probably. But for now you've got the update and no longer have to wonder who/what/when/where I'm playing. As of writing this I have a very busy summer ahead of me with all of these bands, and in case you were wondering, you can check out all of my upcoming shows with them on my Shows page so that you never have to miss a show again. See you out there!
